FINALLY apple has come up with something perfect for the unambitious low-techy like me! the new iPod Shuffle! it weighs not more than a car key!!

these people just don't stop! marketing for a brand like macintosh must be fun. hm. options?

iPod shuffle: Smaller than a pack of gum and much more fun.*

today's story from Japantoday: "Bae's Japanese fans follow suit in tsunami donations" http://www.japantoday.com/e/?content=news&cat=1&id=323891 ‚³‚·‚ªƒˆƒ“—l!

if the amount of money sent for aid at all reflects the extent of disaster we're talking about, i suppose $674 million from germany, $500+ million from japan, $350 million from the US, and literally MILLIONS from private funds does serve as an indicator. but of course, the sad thing is that not even millions of $$ can buy time or infastructure fast enough.

here's the scary thing about this country -- you would never guess living in new york, but hmmm...looks like we're the minority around here:

this is highly probable; within the next 4 years..

 and here's world reality

BA HA HA HA HA!!!

i was a laughing fool watching this movie! it's incredibly insensitive, silly and outrageous, but also very VERY funny! i had always expected it to be funny as i was watching the preview, but i was also afraid that those scenes in the preview may be the only good parts. as it turns out, those were just the very tip of the iceberg!

of course a happy clean ending, but there were so many silly moments on the way. if i'm ever feeling low and blue, i would watchi this again.

"let's kick it ole' skooool!"

i am currently allured by intense wanderlust! i came across an article featuring corsica and since then have been DESIRING to be plucked out of manhattan with one big palm of the hand and then swung and plotted across the atlantic.

on another note, our apartment is now highly secure. i had been suffering from severe paranoia and thereby losing HOURS of sleep every night (although weight loss a la christian bale was not be seen). today we had a hot and hairy middle eastern locksmith come and fix our door knob as well as add a deadbolt. woo hoo!
